• Negative : not to + V1

ex: he says :"dont sit here!"
=> he asked me not to sit there.

• Positive : to + V1

ex:"Please help me!"
=> she asked me to help her.

2. Statement / Declarative / Kal. Pernyataan

• Simple

ex: She said : "I work 8 hours a day"
=> she said that she worked 8 hours a day

• Continous

ex: he said : "I am washing my car"
=> he said that he was washing his car.

• Perfect

ex: they said:"We have done our job"
=>they said that they had done their job.

• Modal

ex: he said:"I will continue my study"
=> he said that he would continue his study

3. Question / Pertanyaan

• Yes/No Question

If/whether + positive sentence
ex: she asks:"are you okay?"
=>she asked me if I was okay.
she asks:"can you drive a car?"
=> she asked me if I could drive a car.

• W/H Question

W/H + Positive sentence
ex : he asks :"where is my book?"
=>he asked where his book was.
